My workflow for making a unified mesh for skinning

What is unified mesh? It is a waterproof version of the model of character or an organic model mesh with equal size of faces (Either triangles or quads).

Why we need it: during rigging, it often happens that the model or UV gets revised, or other pieces of outfits are added to it. having this piece of unified mesh in hand will increase the skinning workflow.

how to generate it:

using a voxel generating system and re meshing over it,

how I do it: using zbrush( dynamesh + remesh), or Houdini(vdb)

I skin the unified version

and will transfer skin data to original mesh and any revised version after it.
